Diabetes Management Study: Omada Health

Trial Overview

This study will be conducted in the comfort of patient's homes and will use a mobile phone app-based diabetes self-management program combined with a continuous glucose monitor to help you make achievable lifestyle changes to eating habits and physical activity. This app-based diabetes program provides personalized tools and support, including access to the following at no cost to patients:

  • A certified Diabetes Specialist for tailored coaching and one-on-one support
  • A continuous glucose monitor
  • A scale
  • Weekly lessons and health tracking to take the guesswork out of diabetes
  • Online Community for encouragement and practical tips

Trial Requirements

  1. We are looking for adult men and women who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.
  2. You will need either a phone with Android OS 5.0 or higher or an iPhone 7 or later, running iOS 11 or higher.

What To Expect

  1. You will use your smart phone to access the Omada Health app to participate in this study.

  2. This study will take up to four months and require two home visits conducted by a medical professional where vitals and blood will be taken and a survey will be conducted.

  3. This app-based diabetes program provides personalized tools and support, including access to the following at no cost to you:
